ASSALAMU ALAIKUM HYDERABADI CHICKEN DUM BIRYANI RAMZAAN SPECIAL PAKKI AKHNI KI DUM BIRYANI LET’S START LET US START MAKING SPICE POWDER YOU CAN BUY READYMADE GARAM MASALA OR MAKE IT AT HOME HOMEMADE GARAM MASALA GIVES AWESOME TASTE TO OUR DISHES SO I AM SHARING THIS TOO CORIANDER SEEDS – 3 TABLESPOON FENNEL SEEDS – 1 TEASPOON CARAWAY SEEDS – 1 TEASPOON INSTEAD YOU CAN USE CUMIN SEEDS TOO BLACK PEPPERCORN – 2 TEASPOON BAY LEAVES – 2 CUT INTO SMALL PIECES STAR ANISE – 2 GREEN CARDAMOM – 12 BLACK CARDAMOM – 2 CLOVES – 20 CINNAMON STICKS, SMALL – 20 NUTMEG – 1 SMALL PIECE MACE – 1/2 A PIECE GRIND TO A FINE POWDER SPICE POWDER IS READY YOU CAN USE THIS IN BIRYANIS OR PULAOS OR ANY CHICKEN AND MUTTON DISHES YOU CAN SKIP FEW INGREDIENTS IF UNAVAILABLE THIS FRESH HOMEMADE GARAM MASALA POWDER GIVES MORE TASTE TO DISHES LET US START THE PROCESS OF MAKING BIRYANI FIRST WE NEED CHICKEN – 1 KILO CUT CHICKEN INTO BIG SIZED PIECES LET US MARINATE IT SPECIAL GINGER GARLIC PASTE – 3 TABLESPOON LINK IS IN DESCRIPTION BOX SPICE POWDER – 1 TEASPOON LEMON JUICE – 1 TABLESPOON CARDAMOM POWDER – 1/2 TEASPOON RED CHILI POWDER – 1 1/2 TEASPOON TURMERIC POWDER – 1/2 TEASPOON YOGURT – 300 GRAM SALT AS PER TASTE FRIED AND CRUSHED ONIONS – 2 MEDIUM SIZED FEW MINT LEAVES FEW CORIANDER LEAVES CRUSHED GREEN CHILIES – 1 TABLESPOON CLARIFIED BUTTER – 1 TABLESPOON MIX IT WELL MARINATE FOR AN HOUR BASMATI RICE – 1 KILO WASH IT WELL AND SOAK IN WATER FOR AN HOUR HEAT OIL – 5 TABLESPOON THIS IS THE OIL IN WHICH I FRIED ONIONS HEAT IT ADD THE MARINATED CHICKEN AND COOK COOK FOR 10 MINUTES UNDER HIGH FLAME LOWER THE FLAME AND COOK TOLL CHICKEN TURNS 80% TENDER THIS MAY TAKE 20 TO 25 MINUTES CLOSE LID CHICKEN IS 80% DONE COOK TILL GRAVY GETS LITTLE DRY CHCIKEN IS COOKED, KEEP IT ASIDE BOIL WATER 3 TO 4 LITERS ADD SALT AS PER TASTE OIL – 1 TABLESPOON CARAWAY SEEDS – 1/2 TEASPOON CINNAMON STICKS – 5 GREEN CARDAMOM – 3 CLOVES – 4 MIX IT THE MORE WATER WE USE THE BETTER RICE IS COOKED TASTE IT FOR ADDING EXTRA SALT IF REQUIRED WATER IS BOILING NOW ADD THE SOAKED RICE MIX IT WELL AND COOK TILL 70 TO 80% RICE IS COOKED STRAIN THE EXCESS WATER IN A VESSEL ADD CLARIFIED BUTTER THEN ADD FIRST LAYER OF RICE NOW ADD CHICKEN GRAVY RICE LAYER GARNISH WITH MINT LEAVES, CORIANDER LEAVES, SAFFRON ADDED MILK,A PINCH OF GARAM MASALA POWDER,FRIED ONIONS NEXT LAYER OF CHICKEN RICE LAYER CHCIKEN LAYER LAST LAYER OF RICE GARNISH CLOSE LID HEAT AN OLD TAWA PLACE BIRYANI VESSEL ON IT LET THE FLAME BE HIGH FOR 5 MINUTES COVER IT CLOSE LID REDUCE FLAME AND COOK UNDER DUM FOR 30 MINUTES AFTER 30 MINUTES HYDERABADI CHICKEN DUM BIRYANI IS READY LET IT REST FOR 15 MINUTES SHARE YOUR VIEWS IN COMMENT SECTION SUBSCRIBE LIKE AND SHARE

    Can you please confirm whether or not the garam masala recipe calls for 3 teaspoons (as mentioned in the recipe description) or 3 tablespoons (as stated in the video) of coriander? I used 3 tbsp but wanted to double check as I will be making more garam masala for other recipes 😃

Assalamualaikum,i am from Malaysia ,you teach me to boil the rice a bit longer but still I don't get the softness of the rice to get along with the superb chicken…I want to know if I boil 1.5kg rice how long it's take to perfect the rice before I top up to the chicken or mutton,tq…. please advice.
