Hi this Lucy come from Lucy’s Asian kitchen right now living in Graz I have a cooking school in Lendplatz Today I would like to share my Austrian experience with you guys [My Austrian Ties] I met my husband in China we went to the Austrian National Day at an embassy and all there actually you know the Wienerschnitzel they made by fish So he was just really like disappointed maybe I can make a Wienerschnitzel for him it’s kind of support him and comfort him [Differences in Dining Experiences] Chinese culture and western culture is so different Western food is really like one dish and maybe with side dish but then you cannot really you know sharing with everyone I mean you order your own Chinese people always like sharing you know all the food together [From Lucy’s Kitchen] [Sichuan Pickled Vegetables] Among Sichuan dishes this is one of the most important and sugar, salt …… this is very similar to the Austrian Sauerkraut [Sourcing Ingredients] Common ingredient is okay you know You can find here also or Vienna Most you know…..some special ingredients especially like a Sichuan spices I mean we always have to buy in China Yeah, because here also can find some similar thing but it’s not real, you know, the taste Yeah, I want For example like dried chili you know, they have different kinds of chili and also different chili powder and Sichuan pepper and Sichuan pepper powder [Lucy shares how she cooks Sichuan Poached Sliced Pork] [stir fry the ingredients] [add water] [bring to boil] [poaching the sliced pork] [boil for a few minutes then remove] [adding final seasoning and touches] [hot oil] [top with hot oil] [bring out the flavor of the seasonings] Cheers!
