Sup Tulang Oriental (Oriental Beef Soup)

spices bouquet garni Dried Chili Rock sugar sliced ginger 3 cloves garlic 1 kg beef and bones ( i use rib bones, small cut) Tips for clear soup Hot water with few slices of ginger & spring onion Add in the meat Let it simmer until the fat and debris float to the top Drain and wash with cold tap water Heat up 2 tbsp of cooking oil Add in the rock sugar Cook it until all dissolves and turn brown Add the meat Stir it until all the meat coated with caramelize sugar Add 1 tbsp dark soya sauce Add in water as much as needed Add in the earlier ingredients Add the rest of the seasoning (1 tbsp light soya sauce and 2 cubes of beef stock) Simmer in medium heat for 2 hours or until the meat is tender (less time if using pressure cooker ) The meat is tender with sweet, spicy and rich taste of the soup You can enjoy it with a bowl of white rice or bread or with your favorite noodles ..
