if you have missed any of the other mini foods to date there is a link to a playlist up here
and down below we have done quite a few so maybe if you have not seen them all check
this one out and then watch the others, we are doing the heavily requested English style
cooked breakfast which is going to be tricky, we are going to try to do the beans, toast,
the egg, the sausage, bacon and tomatoes, so how hard can it be lets find out I have
this mic on because it is going to be all close up you will not see much of the face
which is probably a good thing lets get on and see how it goes, ok. So you guys know the rules by now there is
my mini chopping board that was kindly sent in and also the winnie the pooh plate which
it must fit on by the end, so that will go there, we have our apparatus there, lets get
cooking. So here is the ingredients we have got this
is some leftover baked beans where the girls had some left last night, half a tomato I
think mrs barry had a salad and left one of the tomatoes there, we thawed out some pigs
in blankets these are popular for Christmas which has just passed, we had some leftover
so will have them for tea or something, basically a small sausage wrapped in bacon so we get
bacon and sausage out of that. This is an egg that I have separated, with
the yolk and the white, that is the most tricky thing I think out of all of this and just
a scrap of bread so that will hopefully make a piece of toast. Right we start with the bacon first of all
it is actually easy if I rip it really for now, and it will shrivel up a bit, that is
quite a cool looking rasher actually, hmmm I think I will try and halve it again but
that may work, lets just go down there like that. Ah that will do but I do not think that is
really�. Um, no. actually it is much easier if I just pull
it off like that there we go that is a much better rasher of bacon I am just going to
do that, yeah that will do, so for the sausage meat I am just going to squeeze some sausage
meat out, oh yeah check that out, way too much there, alright that can be enough for
one, lets get rid of that, I am just trying to make ah there we go little sausage shape
there, roll it in my hands, roll it out a bit cylinder shape, ok so that is the sausages
and bacon done. Just washing my hands and the tools. Tomato next and we are not even going to need
that much just small specks, unfortunately I will not be able to grill them, I will just
pan fry them, but hey it is still tomato, yeah little pieces like that will be great,
ok, there is my tomato. For the toast it is quite easy really I can
just slice a square for the bread, may just give it a squish down to make it quicker to
cook, there we go, piece of bread. For the beans I do not even know what that
tool is but I am just picking out a bean, like so and just going to slice that, there
we go, oh that is cutting up really easy, look at that. So if I use the baked bean with a little sauce
from the tin that will be perfect. So we have our sausages, bacon, beans, tomato,
toast, so the egg we just have to freestyle by putting it in the pan, so lets cook that
first to see if it works. So this is where I am unsure if it will work,
I have separated my egg, as you saw, we have our mini pan there do not worry it is not
on the flame yet, but the egg whites, I am going to use and eighth of a teaspoon measuring
tool like so, pour that into the pan to create the egg white base, and then this is the egg
yolk. Now when the kids used to get ill when they
were younger we would not give them medicine by spoon we would give them calpol which I
loved as a kid calpol was amazing, the strawberry one particularly, this is a syringe with a
tiny nozzle, so I am going to suck up, lets do it now, suck up some egg yolk in there,
oh yes. Shake it off, shake it off, no? There you go, thanks we got there in the end,
the egg yolk is in there and we are just going to inject the egg yolk into the egg white
and hopefully we will make a tiny fried egg. Now because that is such a delicate step I
am going to do that on its own first put that on a low flame, lets get some egg white, we
will do that very carefully, right in the middle like so, alright bit bigger, bit bigger,
ok cool. And then just a very teeny squirt of egg yolk,
oh my gosh it is working and nearly cooked already what look at the size of that already,
I have not put any oil in because by the time it cooked it would have splattered everything
by now but folks, I think, what has that been like ten seconds, yeah the egg yolk is bubbling,
the white is definitely cooked, I need to, oh I did not think this is going to work,
lets see if this oh come on, yes, haha right I am getting this off the pan a minute. This is the normal winnie the pooh plate and
this is its little brother so just putting the fried egg on there, that is amazing, ok
lets cook the rest of the stuff up, so back on that low flame we sit that bread on first
of all, oh that is still warm, it will probably take the longest, then the tomatoes, sausages,
haha what am I doing, bacon, it is cooking, can you hear that, it is cooking alright yeah,
oh my gosh look at it folks the sausages all browned, the bacon browned too, the tomatoes
are charred like a grilled effect, and the toast is browned also so I am going to get
this off to cool for one minute, then we just finish off with the beans, as the sauce with
the beans on will caramelise super quick. This is the blue pan version of the red pan,
just putting it in there for the moment, lets do our beans, in go the beans, and the sauce
on top lets break them up a bit there we go, there is baked beans folks, ooh that is hot,
wooo. Now I did say that was not going to take very
long lets get that off the heat ok folks lets serve that up, we have got our mini winnie
the pooh plate our baked beans, toast, sausages, tomatoes, loving the charred tomato, still
one on my finger, bacon, and of course our fried egg which I am going to tuck in there,
amazing, I think it is a bit of a controversy thing in the uk whether you are a red or brown
sauce person so I am going for brown actually using another syringe there we go just a splodge,
amazing. And of course for scale a ten pence piece
coin roughly the size of an American quarter, mini cooked breakfast, all done, lets see
what it tastes like. Just went to pick it up to eat it, I love
how the queen is going oh I really want to eat you, but folks it is my job. I do not really want to eat it, it is so beautiful,
but down the hatch. Amazing, just like always it tastes just like
the real thing it is all about portion control especially this month with the fat boy slimming

Reardon and today we’re going to make chocolate coated nuts. I bought a mixed
bag of nuts 🌰🥜🔩and separated them all out into their individual bowls and I want
to know if you know what each of these are … so if we call this one number one
two three four five six seven and eight … can you list in the comments for me the
number and the name of each of these nuts? So that’s one two three four five
six seven and eight. What are they? I’m gonna use some of them
but I am NOT going to use all of them today. Let’s start with these ones which
to give you a clue are … walnuts 😊Crack the hard shell and this is what they look
like inside they look a bit like a brain to me 🧠 Okay so I’ve got a plastic
container lid and I’m going to take each of the walnut shells and put some hot
glue on it and stick it to the top of the inside of the container like that.
The reason that I’m using whole ones is that they’re very hard to break without
damaging the shell and all the shells are slightly different sizes. Pour
reusable food safe molding gel into the bottom of the container then take that
lid flip it over and place it on top so that the walnuts sit half covered by the
molding gel. Once the gel is set you should just be able to pull off the lid
from the container and because the lid is smooth the hot glue should just come
right off leaving the lid unharmed. Take the mold out of the container and
then remove the nuts and you can see there the imprint of the shell and all
those details are on the molding gel. Fill each cavity with tempered milk
chocolate … if you don’t know how to temper chocolate just ask in the
comments and one of my lovely subscribers will link you to the
chocolate secrets video that shows you various methods of tempering chocolate
at home. Once all the molds are full or nearly full agitate it to smooth off the
tops and get rid of any of those air bubbles and then add a walnut 1/2 onto
the top of each one and push it down gently. And then we’ve just got to leave
those to set. While they are sitting I’ve always wanted to make chocolate
coated nuts but to do that properly you need a panning machine and I obviously
don’t have one of those but then I saw this video where they put a stand mixer
on a slope and added an attachment that you can use for panning which sounds
great and then I saw the price hmm 🤔 So I’ve decided to try and make my own
instead … so firstly I’m going to unscrew another attachment that I have for my
mixer so I’ve got that bit that goes into the top of the mixer. I don’t even
know if this is gonna work but let’s give it a go. So I’m gonna take a
hemisphere baking tin and to make it a bit bigger or a bit longer I’m adding
the sides of a loose based baking tin around the top and just using gaffer
tape to put that into place. Then using hot glue I’m adding a plastic ring to
the top of the hemisphere. Now this is the side that goes into the mixer and
that will turn it so the other side is the one we want to attach to the bowl
right in the centre. Now I don’t know if this is going to be strong enough but
I’m using hot glue so that I can take it off again later and reuse all these
parts for their original purpose. Here we go put the mixer onto a slope and add
that into place and then shall we test it out … my main concern with this is that
this join here won’t be 💥strong enough and indeed it’s not. Oh dear so we’re
going to need another way of attaching that and I think I’m gonna have to
sacrifice my hemisphere mold here and drill a hole right through it. Model
version number two I now have a hole through the hemisphere mold and the
‘joiny’ piece is hot glued into the centre and success … it is spinning and
after a few minutes we have a light coating and then you can add a little bit
more chocolate at a time to make that coating thicker but it looks like the
hot glue is still not strong enough. I really don’t want to weld this together
because I want the piece for my other attachment for the mixer later. So
time for model number three … this time I’ve reduced the amount of hot glue on
the outside to a smaller amount and glued a screwdriver attachment around
the piece that goes through on the inside. I also got rid of the slope
because the mixer works with the head tilted up so there’s not really any need
to put it on a slope it can just sit flat with the head up. This seems to be
the most stable model that I’ve made so let’s leave that tumbling and check on
the walnuts. Push each of the walnuts pop out of the mold and I think they look
lovely … a box of those would make a beautiful gift for someone or just a
bowl that a dinner party would be lovely for dessert and once you’ve got the
mould made it is easy to make more of these. Then finally after two hours of
panning just leaving them to go around on each other to make them smoother we
have milk and then I put a layer of dark chocolate on the very outside and we
have coated hazelnuts. They’re not as smooth or as shiny as I was hoping for
but considering that this was a homemade panning machine on the spur of the
moment I actually think they’re pretty good and a life update for you we are
back home from the hospital. James is still on IV antibiotics and a whole
bunch of other medications with an amazing service we have in Australia
here called Hospital in the home. So basically he is still a hospital patient
but they come to us instead of us being in hospital, so he’s out of dangerous
waters now he’s getting stronger and a little bit less pain each day. So thank
you all so much for your love over these last few weeks 💕 I was getting really
teary last week reading all the comments and the Friday before as well when
I was in the hospital reading them all and thank you for all the virtual hugs
you sent to your support just means a lot so much to me to know that you guys
care for us and for those of you who are asking where you could send James a

kitchen if you haven�t guest it already today it is our musical we are just going
to sing yes we are going to do a Christmas musical. Yeah its our festive giant food and we are
going to try and make you might of seen a video the other day where we did our three
DIY Christmas treats yes. We are going to make a giant if I stand on
tip toes you can see it a giant Christmas tree. A giant crispmas tree oh I see what you did
there I did that pun the other day did you it still hasnt sunk in yet. Thats alright so what we are going to do we
are going to use this as a template to make a massive tree out of rice crispys. Using the theory of the tini one we did the
other day which was awesome if you didnt see that so we need to work out how we are going
to do this. We do how we are going to do it dunno that
was where I was going to stop and montage it sorry. How are we going to do this we genuinely haven�t
thought this out um shall we just go to the supermarket and see what we can find yes. So this is your high tech um plan right yeah
we got tree list and bucket that�s all we need. We are off to the supermarket to get are this
is the weird angled camera fish eye oh yeah it is we look like we are in a goldfish bowl. Weve got to get loads of rice crispies yeah
weve got to get loads we are not sure how much we are just trying to work that out. Um and lots of chocolate non branded rice
crispies as well cos I reached out to kellologs I reached out to you kellologs but you never
got back to me so we are using unspecified rice crispies yes. I reckon 100g rice crispies would make 4 of
those little trees what I reckon 100g rice crispies would make 4 of those mini trees. So we need about 50 kilos whats that that�s
quite a lot of weight. Mrs Barrys just raving about how theyve changed
the locking system on the trolleys is that exciting. No its annoying I hate trolleys when youve
got to put a pound in. Thats a Christmas jumper right there. We need like loads of these like loads. Oh yeah the different coloured ones shall
we do that instead yeah alright. Theyve only got the medium expensive ones
so its going to be quite pricey. Wheres their 50p bag they havent got any someone
else is making a giant Christmas tree as well. You cant reached haha thats a smaller box
than the other one init thats 375 haha. Alright I just got the while box thing down
instead there isloads of rice cripies in this trolley haha. I caught Mrs Barry she bought some slippers

most expensive giant food ever that was a lot of money I am not going to reveal how
much that was and also I havent had any breakfast I really wanted rice crispies this morning
I really genuinely did. Your not going to want any now I dont think
we are going to want any or see any rice crispies or chocolate for a while after today. So heres whats going to happen folks this
Christmas tree shape os going to give us the initially start of our rice crispy tree. We are using baking parchment wrap it around
it please don�t do that noise thank you tree wrap it round it like that and that will
give us the template which we can build out of which we havent quite worked out how were
going to do yet. Erh what are you doing I am melting up some
milk chocolate ready for our bucket nice. Looks like a little wizard hat or something. Hey just for piece of mind folks. Lets see if this fits yay that will do. So we have now hopefully got a nice smooth
bottom for our bottom. so we are going to pour in our rice crispies
to see how many we need for our bucket. Oh wow that�s quite high it is that filled
alot more up than I thought plus the chocolates going to go in there. We have just noticed if we fill it up much
more we are going to get the lip its going to have a nice groove it is. That is quite high actually I thing that will
be alright for our tree to sit on. Yeah its got to take the weight lets pour
in the chocolate. We have cleaned this bucket by the way or
we did its got rice crispy bits all on it now. Not the short one oh its alright no body died
we are alright. Oh my god wow lets get it all in there. Im going to bring them closer they are going
to want to see this. Alright then ladle in then folks oh my gosh. Oh just got chocolate on my face. Our conservatory out there is bliming freezing
you could cut glass with a think about what you are going to say with a glass cutter so
we are going to put it out there and it should firm up an absolute treat. A rice crispy treat. We are now going to do the same think but
melting up white chocolate which we are going to dye green to start to form our Christmas
tree so it looks like a big bag of chips but we are going to stuff it in there right yeah. Chocolate is melted right look at that it
is good the milky bar kid would be proud. Hash tag not spong alright. Not what dont worry oh. Do food colouring and then do like a drop
of oil cos it is chocolate and this isnt that food gel it is food gel but its not yeah just
a drop as it does have a tendency to seize. We are using a gel based food colour you can
get oiled based ones which work a charm so thats why we are doing that. Oh look at that green look at that we have
green chocolate all we need now is rice crispies. This time we are going to pour the rice crispies
into the chocolate so that any rice crispies that settle discover the green. Right does that sound good yeah it might not
work. Wheres the chocolate oh there it is found
it in the worgs of jaws we are going to need a bigger bowl. what do you mean in the words of jaws like
a bigger boat that�s what they say in the film oh. See right now it has stained and coated but
its not quite green enough. I cant see its alright you are doing very
well. Is it all in yeah. I got every nook and cranky out of there just
to stain it as much as we can but ultimately it should hold it and we can just tart it
up at the end. Right measuring jug top of our tree right
so we have pushed it right into the end so we should have a nice little point on it now
we are going to load it up and keep ramming it down. Ready my role is just eating the rice crispies. Just shovelling it in now then folks get in
there. Look at that it looks like a deranged piping
bag or just a rice crispy infused piping bag. Urm ok tini bit more and then we have to ley
it firm up a bit. Haha yes stage one complete right stage one
complete what are you thinking right now I am thinking that would taste really good with
lots of ice cream on top. It would I am thinking is it going to hold
I dont know but the good thing is look we have actually made a rice crispy one of those
right we are going to montage this up and see how high we can get it. Alright then folks that is what it is looking
like inside we are using the foil to try and fan it to get a bit more width on it we reckon
we can go as high as that then maybe one more and after that it is probably likely to break
if it doesnt anyway right. We are getting there we are in green chocolate
heaven. Wow that is look huge from up here it is I
dont know how straight it is it will be alright we will get one straight side eyah and that
will be fine and we will cover it with decorations anyway. Well I have painted the tree that is going
to firm it up but I did make a bit of a mess and as you can see it is nice and straight. There is green chocolate on the floor but
I am not going to tell Mrs Barry that here we go. I have already seen it look at that just filling
up a little mould there to make a chocolate angel and theres are tinsel there pretzels
marshmallows and popcorn. Does look a bit like a kebab actually but
that is where like all Christmas trees things like our angel on the top tinsel and our baubles
which are Ferrero Roches should give it a nice finish. What do you think of the tree good I want
to decorate it. Its time to turn it over are you excited I
am a bit nervous I an really really unconfident. It is going to be fine ok. One two three ok yeah arh has it worked yes
I think so I feel like it just wants to fall down and me. Its kind of worked it has stayed in its shape
just got a few spares yeah that is a relief. This has been pretty full on ok now it is
starting to look like a Christmas tree right yes it is haha. That�s it big squeeze this is going to be
beautiful. Stick it on the tree then alright yeah what
did you want it to put there you can put it wherever you want mate. Apart from the floor Merry Christmas I know
its not Christmas yet but we did do the Christmas tree so I say Merry Christmas to you. Alright *Chloe sings a Christmas song from
school* Oh its looking like a right old tree now init could you see that oh no what oh
no. we have got one more bit of tinsel to go yeah then the fairy yeah then we get to
order our dominos haha not a dominos a dominos pizza. She is very excited for the pizza we are having
for tea tonight cos this is taking so long we have had no time to cook dinner haha other
pizza brands are available. Look at that mate that looks like a Christmas
tree let me see wow Ill tell you what it doesnt look like a green kebab anymore. Its finally time to put the fairy on top of
the Christmas tree the very heavy fairy this fairy could fall off so oh I hope not. Spoon some white chocolate on it I hope it
holds do you think she is going to stay yeah me too. Here she goes I might have to stay there for
a while Im afraid to let go of it I know ive got a cocktail stick here. Oh there you go haha Mrs Barry yes we have
oulled this out the bag yes we have done it. This is our Christmas card picture cheese
hahaha print screen that and send it to no please dont no they totally will now. This is our Christmas thing now and we could
decorate it and urm edit it at Christmas eve we will put it up soon. Hardest one day giant food ever done so many
potential fails but I hope you agree it looks awesome. It does I cant believe we managed to do it
in one day I think the kids helping us towards the end there helped we were like lets just
give up but now we are going to get some pizza and we did not give up cos we were full of
energy arh we were werent we. What do you think Pheebs it was very good
watching you watching hahaha. Phoebe stood from the side coaching. I think Chloe is happy now cos she has got
a billion rice crispy boxes to use as a sledge. So there we are then folks another giant food

with a plan on how you’re going to eat healthy. You are a busy person in your school, you
have to plan how to get your homework done, you’re a busy mom, busy father you have to
plan on how to take care of your children. It’s the same as your diet, you have to put
a plan into place. So how you do that is you make these foods available for you. So let’s
say you had a consultation with your dietitian and your dietitian tells you that you need
to eat two fruits a day along with other variety of foods. But we’re going to go ahead to talk
about the fruit group right now so what you want to do when you go the grocery store is
go ahead and buy all the fruit that you need for that week. That way you can challenge
yourself and try to get all those pieces of fruit in everyday. These kinds of food, the
desserts and the salty they are great to have in your pantry but if you don’t have a plan
you might go ahead and resort to these quick convenience foods when you’re really hungry.
But if you come up with a plan and have something like this meal already in the refrigerator
maybe you prepared it the night before and went ahead and did some batch cooking, you
decided that you eat it again then you would have a nice healthy meal of the next day.
Water is another important thing that people just don’t think about so if you need eight
glasses of water a day keep a cup by your bathroom sink and in the morning drink one
glass before-when you wake up. Then before when you go to bed at night, drink another
glass and then during the day find a bottle like this which contains 6-8oz glasses of
water. If you drink this throughout the day then you have gotten your 8 glasses throughout
the day and that is the way you want to plan to be healthy.

a pinch. First, take your flour and place it into your hand sifter, like so. Crank your
hand sifter so that you do sift the flour. You want to sift flour so that it makes it
nice and fluffy, and you also want to make sure that you work out any lumps in the flour.
That is how you sift flour.

I’m Gianni and this is my North Beach.
I’m making pasta e fagioli aka pasta fazool. This is a favorite of mine and it’s also a
favorite of lovelyamor13, who suggested that I make this on YouTube. So that’s what I’m
cooking today. So let me show you the ingredients for pasta
fazool. Here’s cannellini beans, that I soaked overnight.
Ditalini, the little short cut pasta. Extra virgin olive oil.
Garlic. Fresh Italian parsley.
Bay leaf. Dried oregano.
Sea salt. Black pepper.
So let me get the odori going first. I’m going to use celery and onion.
So there’s one. The second one. See these leaves over here?
This is gonna add flavor to it. If I got celery leaves, we’re gonna use them.
Okay, there’s my celery. Then we’re gonna take half an onion.
Okay, now got a little bit of garlic here. Baboom. And baboom.
Give this a rough chop also. Let me get my pan going. I’m using this enamel
pot. We’re gonna give it some olive oil. Maybe about 2 tablespoons, I’d say.
Get these in. So this is the celery, the onions, the garlic,
the bay leaf. All that goodness is going right in there.
I don’t want to get any color on this, so I’m gonna keep a good eye on it and we just
want them to soften a little bit. They’ll finish cooking in the soup, of course.
But I just want to cook them a little bit to bring out their flavor. Any time I’m making
a soup or a stew, I’ll always start this way by cooking your herbs or your garlic, onions.
So we’ll just let those go for a minute or two.
Now that the onions and the celery have sweated down a little bit, this is my Sicilian oregano.
And I’m gonna add that now. Just let that toast up.
I’ve got the cannellini beans that I soaked overnight.
I’m gonna put a cup or two of these in. If you don’t want to soak beans overnight,
you can use canned cannellini beans. Just make sure that you drain them well because
you know there’s gonna be a lot of starch at the bottom of the can and you don’t want
that in here. We’re gonna add some water to this.
You could use chicken stock, you could use vegetable stock, but this is gonna be such
a flavorful dish, I don’t think you need it. I don’t want the salt, I don’t want the other
flavors, so I’m using some good old Hetch Hetchy water here in San Francisco.
And you want to make sure that you’re more than fully covering the beans.
So I’m gonna bring the heat up to high. The lid on ajar.
And we’ll just test these in about 15 minutes and see if the beans are tender.
So the beans have been cooking for about 10 minutes in the boiling water.
So I just want to add the final ingredients here before the pasta goes in.
So I’m just gonna add some parsley here to help flavor that broth, right? Because it’s
just water. A little bit of salt and pepper. And then
we can always adjust. This is a tomato puree from Italy. So I’m
gonna add some of this for color. Let’s take a look here and see how we’re doing.
I think my beans are gonna be–let me taste one for you. I don’t want to get burnt here.
Mmm. The beans are just about to the creamy stage.
It’s time to add my ditalini. You know, usually, my mother used to make this with ditali, right?
It ended over here. No “ni”. Because they’re a bigger cut than this. It’s
hard to find ditali, this cut sometimes. So ditalini you see more often.
So I’m using that. It’s gonna be just as good. Some people like to cook their pasta separate
and then add it. So there’s one downside to doing it this way.
The pasta gonna swell up, so you better eat this soon. The good thing is that some of
that starch from the ditalini are gonna help thicken the soup.
So we’ll let it go probably about another 5, 6 minutes and we’re gonna be eating some
pasta fazool. Let me taste it.
I got a bean and I got some…I think it’s gonna be done though.
Mmm. Perfect. Needs a little salt. Right? Always adjust
salt and pepper. I’ll give it a little bit of fresh pepper
here, too. So this isn’t a real watery soup.
See, you can see here, see how it thickened because it had the starch coming off the pasta?
That’s the way you want it. Okay, so here’s our pasta fazool.
I’m just gonna brighten it up a little bit with some parsley.
Nice olive oil. A little drizzle. A little pecorino.
Look at the mess I made over here. Get that all in there.
That cheese is expensive. I don’t want to lose any.
Okay, let me take a little bit here. See how nice and thick it is, though?
You don’t want this to be like a broth. Look at that.
Some of the beans. Some of the little ditalini. Burning my hand.
