  3. Lil tips to know a dead fish is fresh or not: look at the eyes, if it's transparent then its fresh, if it's red or blurry then it's not fresh. Another one is you have to touch the meat n look for the springy texture, dont buy if the meat is hard or too soft

  4. This is not much of a meal. Broth ..fish.. something like lettuce. How could you stay full on this!!!!

  5. Chinese cooking uses cooking wine a lot. It helps to decrease the smell of fish, smell and taste of the blood, etc… Also, when you stir-fry the egg, adding a little bit of cooking wine helps it to get fluffy as the wine evaporates during the process.

Im indonesian chinese , and this is for real my daily food , but im always havin a soup of spinach soup , made of bunch of spinach , few shallots and garlic , we sth add sweet potato if we dont want to eat rice , and we used to have chicken stock on it but rn we always usin bonito stock . Taste better , and we also addin a dried smoked fish onto it its our traditional dried smoke fish ,
    The fish we usually steam it like dat and add some tauchu , shaoxinwine is a must , ginger slice thinly , onion , soy sauce , spring onion , it makes a really great sauce after steamed.
    Or we sth cook the fillet fish , with soy sauce , black vinegar , shaoxinwine , alot of ginger , garlic , sesame oil or my own szechuan oil , salt , pepper , tauchu , spring onion , its perfect , how much gr is each ingridients, we all use feeling and taste it in the end before serve , is the best to have a proper taste.

  24. here's something that we first nations cook our geese. One of the methods, slow cooking the goose, first I debone the goose, cut it into pieces and place it in slow cooker, let cook for 2 to 3 hours. in a final hour add some potatoes, carrots, celery. Salt and pepper to taste.
